The Belsize Park Project

Pink kitchen with porcelain worktops, brass island in Belsize Park designed by Herringbone

The Design

The Belsize Park project is a lovely example of how colour really shapes a room. The kitchen is our Westgate Style, a slim version of a traditional shaker door.

Herringbone and the client worked closely with interior designer Oksana Dolgopiatova, to complete the look and feel of the project.

The Details: Colours, Hardware, Worktops Etc

“Our kitchen was influenced by Herringbone's interior designer, Martyna Nicolson. She created really helpful mood boards and made specific suggestions for pendant lighting, wall lights and countertop chairs and we were very much guided by her in our decisions. Specifically on the pendant lighting she even suggested the burgundy colour of the cable which we love.”

The brass clad doors on the island are complemented by the colour of the cabinets, which are Herringbone’s Parade Pink from the Herringbone Paints Range. The marble stone running throughout the space complements the earthy tones of the ceiling and decor.

The large seamless sink is almost hidden from view and the floating shelf above it makes the area feel spacious and open. We love how the Range Cooker and extrator fan are fitted perfectly into the alcove, without neglecting any of the original features of the property.
