The Whitstable Kitchen, Boot Area & Bar

Once we imagined our life in the new kitchen with our family and how we would feel, we decided that this was the only kitchen we wanted as it was "us". Uniquely designed and manufactured for us, our choices, our colours, our way of optimising daily life and the space we live in.”
The Design
We love how this open plan space and kitchen flows so seamlessly. This kitchen works great for socialising as well as everyday life. The large doors to the garden help bring the outdoor in and works incredibly well with the colour choices.
The bespoke design is clever on storage and features floor to ceiling cabinet units on either side of the Range Cooker. Further upper cabinets wrap around the worktop in a neat and impactful way. The large island makes for comfortable seating for the whole family.
The design makes use of every single space available and we love how the family’d DJ decks have received a centre stage spot in the Island.
The cabinets are designed in our Westminster Style and painted in the lovely Coop Pink whilst the island is Friday Night Green, both from our own Herringbone Paints range.
The larder in this space works really well and we love how you can just spot the children’s own kitchen under the stairs. The spice racks are perfectly fitted on the doors of the larder and allow for organised storage.

The Details: Colours, Hardware, Worktops Etc
This kitchen has extraordinary attention to detail, and is packed full of storage. From the Quartz worktop flowing throughout the kitchen to flat drawers on the island we love how this kitchen flows so smoothly in so many ways.
The tiled splash back adds an extra texture to the kitchen and works really well with the colour choices. The closed cabinets are designed to hide away any potential visible mess whilst looking elegant.
The window above the sink is beautiful as well as practicular in terms of getting light into the kitchen. The seamless double sink works really well and we love the antique brass handles used throughout.
The Boot Area
We love this gorgeous (and incredibly useful) boot area right by the front door. The fact that there is a space to sit, store and hang your clothes/shoes is a game changer when it comes to storage.
The Bar
The bar unit is the same Friday Night Green as the units in the kitchen and the reeded glass makes you want to see what is inside. We love how it fits perfectly on the wall space and invites you for a drink as you enter the room.
