Wandsworth Kitchen Extension

The Design

We recently completed this kitchen extension in Wandsworth. Our clients chose their bespoke cabinetry from our Rye cabinetry range which features a decorative cock-bead around the door frame. The main run of cabinetry was painted in ‘Blackened’ and the kitchen island across in Mylands’ famous ‘Bond Street’, a deep and muted dark blue.

On Using Herringbone

The open plan layout which includes a dinning and a living area, is perfect for family gatherings and parties. The sink on the kitchen island facing out, keeps the space social. We love the open shelving on the island, perfect for storing your cookbooks and displaying personal nic nacs!

The great thing about being a bespoke company, means that we are able to create unique and creative designs, tailor made to suit your style, space and lifestyle. In this project our clients requested a prep station and walk in pantry just off the kitchen. The clients worked closely with their designer David, to design and utilise this cosy space in the best possible way.

Our clients chose satin chrome finished knobs and drawer pull handles, perfectly matching their fridge-freezer, large range cooker and tap.

Did you know you can purchase custom handles from us directly? We chose some of our favourite cabinetry handles, pulls & knobs and put them in our Pantry for you.

Last year we opened our very own workshop in Canterbury, where we make and paint all of our kitchens. If you would like to come visit the workshop, you can give us a call on 01227638066.

We’re lucky to have such stylish clients, and this project was no exception. The wooden, herringbone flooring brings warmth into the space contrasting with the stainless steel appliances and handles while the large black crittal windows add tons of light and some industrial edge.
