A few answers about how we make things, how they reach you, and what to do if you're still not sure.

Ordering & Delivery

Standard delivery is a flat £6.95 Although some items are exceptional to this due to their size.
Fabric ships on a full roll, whatever the length ordered, there's an additional large-item handling fee on fabric orders .
Joinery & Flooring are all calculated based on their size.
Everything in The Shop is made just for you, by skilled craftspeople across the country. Because of this, they all have their own unique lead times which are shown on their product pages.
Our Shop is set up for UK delivery. If you're hoping to order from further afield, do get in touch before ordering, we're happy to see what we can arrange.
We hope to bring in international shipping in the next couple of months, so watch this space!
Occasionally, yes. We use different specialist craftspeople, working from separate workshops, who send items direct to you.
We want you to be genuinely happy with what arrives. If something isn't right, get in touch and we'll talk you through your options. Please note that our products are all made to order just for you. Because of this they are non-returnable except in the case of a fault.

Measure the total width of the walls you're covering, and the height from skirting board to ceiling or coving. You'll find the pattern repeat for your chosen design on its product page. It's a handy guide, but we'd always recommend checking your final quantities with a decorator or tradesperson before ordering. We’ve added this to help, but we can’t be held liable, humans are always better than a calculator.
Yes, and we'd genuinely encourage it. Colour, scale and texture can look different in your own light than they do on screen. Sign up to our newsletter and your first wallpaper sample on us!
Every room shown is a real Herringbone House project. In some images, a design has been added digitally to help you picture it in a space, so colour, scale and pattern repeat may not be perfectly true to life. It's exactly why we recommend ordering a sample before committing to a full order.
Our table linen is currently woven from polyester, while we finish developing a custom recycled fabric with a UK mill — something we tried to do from day one, but the right recycled cloth with the strong base we need that mimics linen simply doesn’t exist yet.
We expect to move our whole range over to recycled in 2027. For now, see our table linen spec sheet

Every piece. Our wallpaper is printed by a family-run business in Staffordshire, our table linen is woven, printed and sewn by a second-generation UK textile business, our art prints are printed at a fine art print house in London, and our furniture is made by hand in our own workshop in Canterbury.
Yes. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and part of a limited edition of 50 per size.
Our workshop is based in Canterbury, Kent. Here we make all of our kitchens, joinery and furniture for the Shop. You can always pop in to say hello!

Yes, the Herringbone Creatives Club is our trade programme, offering priority pricing, first access to new collections, and a real person to speak to when you need one. Including free access to your our studio for client meetings. You can apply for this Here.
It is. Our design studio and workshop continue to create bespoke kitchens and interiors for clients across the UK and beyond, alongside the Shop. Book a consultation, or visit us in Canterbury to see the cabinetry and materials in person.
Yes, we create joinery for the whole hone! Bespoke wardrobes and fitted cabinetry are part of what our workshop builds, alongside kitchens. As with our kitchens, every wardrobe is designed and made by hand in our Canterbury workshop. Book a consultation, or visit the studio, to talk through what you have in mind.
